Who We Are

BRAD KASH- OWNER/MANAGING PARTNER

7th Wave Group, LLC President and Managing Partner, Brad Kash, was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida and later earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Saint Leo University in Tampa where he graduated magna cum laude.

Brad began playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 15. He eventually performed in several rock bands as a lead singer, guitarist, and keyboardist until landing in Nashville, Tennessee where he set his rock star aspirations aside to put his accounting degree to good use by working on the business side of music.

Brad initially joined artist management and talent agency firm, Williams-Bell & Associates as an Assistant Controller, and later became a founding partner and CFO of Big Fish Entertainment. With Big Fish, he and his partners managed several new and developing artists and songwriters, while also re-igniting the careers of iconic recording artists, Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard. The company also launched a music publishing division, Riddle Music Publishing, which garnered several charting and award-winning songs.

After being recruited by Hard Rock Cafe International’s corporate operations in Orlando, Florida, Brad accepted the role of Senior Manager of Accounting & Finance, where he led the team responsible for all worldwide fixed asset accounting which included the company’s vast music memorabilia collection. He also managed the international accounting consolidation for all franchised and licensed cafe, hotel, and casino operations, and was part of the valuation team that led the company to its nearly $1 billion sale in December of 2006.

Eventually, Brad returned to Big Fish Entertainment as CFO to help reorganize and structure the Riddle Music Publishing catalog for possible acquisition, and he was later hired by EMI Music as their Director of Operations Finance & Administration.

Brad was soon selected for the position of Vice President of Finance & Royalties for Big Machine Label Group where he built and led a team that supported the company’s artist roster including Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line and The Band Perry, as well as the company’s award-winning and chart-topping music publishing division, Big Machine Music.

After several successful years with Big Machine, Brad launched 7th Wave Group in January 2015 to provide accounting and royalty services directly to music industry clients, and later joined forces with music business financial management and CPA firm, Wiles-Taylor & Co. as Managing Director of Royalty Services.

Following a seven-year tenure with Wiles-Taylor where he directly delivered millions of dollars in financial results for the firm’s clients, in 2023 Brad re-launched 7th Wave Group to once again pursue his original vision for offering highly specialized client services and support utilizing his vast experience and knowledge in music industry finance, accounting, royalties, and contractual compliance.

“Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words. It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones.”
